Every Spartanburg Little Theatre production comes to life on the stage of the stunning Chapman in downtown Spartanburg. Just steps away from local dining, shopping, and popular attractions, it’s the perfect spot to make a day (or night) of your theatre visit.

Getting Here

  • The Chapman Cultural Center is an easy 30-minute drive from Greenville. Head east on I-85 toward Spartanburg, then take Exit 69 for Business I-85/US-29 South toward downtown Spartanburg. Continue on Business 85 as it becomes North Church Street, then turn right onto East Saint John Street. The Chapman Cultural Center will be on your left at 200 East Saint John Street.

  • The Chapman Cultural Center is about an hour's drive from Charlotte. Head southwest on I-85 toward Spartanburg, then take Exit 72 for US-176/Piedmont toward downtown Spartanburg. Turn left onto South Church Street and continue north as it becomes North Church Street. Turn right onto East Saint John Street, and the Chapman Cultural Center will be on your left at 200 East Saint John Street.

  • The Chapman Cultural Center is about an hour and 15 minutes from Asheville. Head southeast on I-26 East toward Spartanburg, then merge onto I-85 North. Take Exit 69 for Business I-85/US-29 South toward downtown Spartanburg. Continue on Business 85 as it becomes North Church Street, then turn right onto East Saint John Street. The Chapman Cultural Center will be on your left at 200 East Saint John Street.

Parking

There is a parking lot on each side of Chapman. This is free parking for show patrons.

Parking also is available free of charge in the St. John Street Garage, which is just to the west of our facility off Liberty Street, directly behind the George Dean Johnson, Jr., USC Upstate College of Business and Economics.

Parking on Liberty or Converse streets is prohibited because it blocks access for emergency vehicles. Please keep reserved handicap spaces for those who have proper authorization and need.
