For nearly 80 years, Spartanburg Little Theatre (SLT) has been a cultural cornerstone of our region, bringing unforgettable performances to passionate theatre lovers in this vibrant Southern town.

In 1945, a group of local visionaries gathered with a shared love for theatre and literature. From that meeting, the Spartanburg Little Theatre was born. The next year, the company staged its first one-act play, marking the beginning of a vibrant community tradition that continues today.

As Spartanburg has grown, so have we. What began as a small-town passion project has evolved into one of South Carolina's most dynamic and professional-quality theatrical organizations — a thriving hub where culture and commerce converge, and where every performance reminds us why live theatre matters.
